This Quarter Marathon and 5K fun run is held at Idlewild Park in Reno, Nevada and is committed to ending the incidence and trauma of intimate partner/domestic violence, sexual violence and child abuse in this area. The beneficiary of this year's run is Safe Embrace. Join the party afterwards in Idlewild Park, free food and entertainment. The race begins at 9 AM April 21st. The fair begins at 8 AM. There will be a free Kids Run at 10:30 AM. You may register on race day until 8:30 AM.

This year's run will benefit Safe Embrace and if you choose, you can make a direct donation on this site whether you are participating or not.
Safe Embrace is a local non-profit organization dedicated
to educating our community about domestic and sexual violence, and providing
compassionate trauma-informed services to victims. Safe Embrace
provides individuals and families with a variety of free services including: 24 hour domestic violence and sexual assault crisis response, counseling and
safety planning, inpatient and outpatient therapy, legal advocacy, evacuation
assistance, and housing in a 90 day pet-friendly safe house and community
integrated transitional housing program. You may make a direct donation

Packet pickup will be held at Eclipse Running (http://www.eclipserunning.org/) on Friday, April 20th from 4 to 7 PM.
